Alpha Zoo hemp oil is extracted from the seeds of the hemp plant and is completely free from psychoactive substances. It provides a versatile fatty acid profile for your four-legged friend's bowl. The cold-pressed feed oil is perfect for raw feeding (BARF) and works just as well as a nutritious supplement for dry or wet food for both dogs and cats.
Dogs and cats need to ingest certain polyunsaturated fatty acids through their diet. Our hemp oil contains a high proportion of linoleic acid (approx. 65%), an omega-6 fatty acid, along with linolenic acid (25%, omega-3) and oleic acid (18%, omega-9). Fats serve as an important energy source and are necessary for the body to absorb fat-soluble vitamins. The oil is cold-pressed to preserve its original composition and contains no artificial additives.
Daily feeding recommendation:
- Dogs 30–40kg: 20ml daily
- Dogs 20–30kg: 15ml daily
- Dogs 10–20kg: 10ml daily
- Dogs up to 10kg: 5ml daily
- Cats: 2.5ml daily
Tip: One teaspoon corresponds to approximately 5ml and one tablespoon to approximately 15ml. Rotate the bottle gently in circular motions before use – vigorous shaking can lead to spills. If your pet is picky, the oil can easily be mixed with a little water, unsalted broth, or stirred into their favorite food.
